"My Brother Knows Me" - By melboots

My Brother knows me

My brother knows me, and
makes me tough;
Gives me trouble, wrappers,
and a magic ellie scarf;
Although he smells and sprays
a lot,
He actually doesn't know we
care about his thoughts;

He treats the house like his hotel,
but when he does the dishes,

it's all worth his well.
I love my brother with all my
heart,
I'm still better than shortbread or
dough tart.

Dear Mortal #week 1

To the mortal who never was:

Hi,
To be honest, I have never seen you before and have no idea how you look like but I’d like it to remain this way. I think it’s fun, snail mail has died, I want to revive it and I love writing …sometimes. We’ll remain anonymous throughout this charade.

My job here is to make your week ahead a better one so I’m gonna start off with something I have been doing recently. But you must understand that I’m pretty much a jackass. I think we all need that in our lives. Not entirely jackass per se, but the daring and bold initiative to choose an extreme style. I realized many people are usually afraid to offend and they become very neutral people. They sit on the fence. It hurts their balls. We offend some, we please some. We can’t please everyone with a particular style but at least you would have people appreciating and you would also head somewhere with your particular style; rather than just being a yes-man. That being said, it’s not the nice people who lose out but the naive ones.

What I would like you to try is to GREET SOMEONE NEW EVERYDAY.  It is ultimately your call.

It's gonna feel different at first. And to avoid looking like a delinquent, step a distance away from your group of friends before you greet the stranger.  Asians are generally passive. There is nothing wrong with that. It’s in our culture. This means that 8 out of 10 of the people greeted would pretend that they didn’t see me or ignore me as though I’m an asshole making a dig at them. I have been reforming and perfecting the art of greeting a stranger and looking back, I do admit at the beginning stage, it probably did pass off as though I’m disturbing them. But hey! In recent times, more strangers in school have been reciprocating is a nice fashion. Mainly the local girls and guys a-like. There is a nice and warm feeling that accompanies it. Try it.
Loosen up and take life easy.

Live love laugh,
Brocolli hair boy.

PS: Btw, I want to break out of my current course into business. This is definitely not what I enjoy doing. We'll see how things go next year. And |sidebar| this is actually nice haha. I already have a topic for next week.

That's all folks! I never had the chance to meet this mortal.

Your local Airwave ~~

The local web radio is up again. Awesome.
Out of my two favourite stations - Class 95 and Gold90, only the former is running live for now.

More than words 'On air' now.

Little India in one minute

They say the secret to traveling anywhere in the world is by reading a book. Pictures work just as well. This one for example, reminds me of Venice.

Knocking on Hades door.

If I had a Little sister....

.... she would have looked something like that. She looks like my sis when she was younger - like one of those cabbage patch dolls. I'd like her name to be Natalie.

There would be Matthew and Natalie. Two cute little siblings who stuff themselves all day with candy and marshmallow like how my brother does now. He calls himself a "Pinata".

-Just a random girl from the playground

I'm not legal to take such pictures

This is Life

"Is there anyone of you, who by worrying, can add a single hour to your life"
When was the last time you carefreely threw away time picking sea shells?

Thoughts thoughts.. I'll leave you with those thoughts.

[The Picture Itself]
This shot turned out pretty. Personally, i felt that the tree branches in the foreground added a shady touch to the picture.

(Thanks to Jarrold who discovered this frame)

The Decisive MOMENT

A flock of pigeons taking off. The perfect timing and patience were needed to capture this picture. No, i'm lying. I scared them into flying muhahaha.
Confucius said that "Patience is a golden virtue" ... Ohmmmmm
- credits to the little pigeons

An aircraft flying overhead on a partially cloudy day. The strong contrast between the different colours paired with perfect lighting make this shot picture-perfect.

Horizontal lines are used to bring forth the beauty of this landscape. Mother nature getting a haircut :') my lame jokes are so cold my nipples have turned into fm radio.

I like this one. It's my favourite. I like how the colours are so vivid, rich and strong, it brings out so much life and flavor.

My first two photographs

OK... my name is nicholas and I'd like to dedicate my first two shots to my lovely siblings. Remember guys it's Happy Brothers' Day every 29 of April and Happy Sisters' day everyday!

And the sisters' pledge as revised by my sis:

' I love my sister, with all my heart. :)
She is the greatest, better than me,
A dough tart!
'

That's my sis mel. She's the master of inside jokes. I have yet to find a cooler sibling than her. So if you do know one, please let me know... she's getting arrogant.
I am sure she will kill me one day with her jokes.

Ah~ This is matt! As you can see...a "matthew" is a little cute monster who likes to sleep and eat a lot. Most of the time mistaken for a "snorlex" -from pokemon- "matthews" are very capable of having a fun time around and playing hard too.

I must say good genes runs in 4/5 of my family.
